Orb of Creation v1.0.3 Rally mechanic for zeal: 5x generation threshold, Mystic Rally research, active ritual penalties, Protection Potion, and Shine cost changes.
Zeal fuels ritual activation and sustained ritual power in Orb of Creation 1.0. The v1.0.3 balance update added Rally—a burst generation mechanic—and softened penalties for running rituals actively. Together these changes address the top community complaint after launch: ritual and Agromancy tedium.
How Rally Works
When zeal uses Rally, generation multiplies by 5x until you reach a threshold starting at 20. This creates burst windows where active play during rituals recovers zeal faster than passive waiting. Pair Rally windows with combat rotations rather than idling between attempts.
- Rally: 5x zeal generation up to threshold (starts at 20)
- Mystic Rally research enhances Rally synergy
- Active rituals: no longer reduce zeal recovery rate
- Active ritual zeal capacity penalty: -5% (was -10%)
- Shine ritual zeal cost: 40 (was 60)
Protection Potion and Late Ritual Zeal
v1.0.4 added Protection Potion, a consumable enhancing zeal production unlocked after obtaining soul. Bind it on QWER alongside mana potions when pushing late ritual lines where zeal gates retry pacing.
